It has been a while ago now.....Latest news is that we have
been taking part in two events so far this year. First was at our hometrack, Gardermoen Raceway in May. This was the first race
with the new bike. However, there were problems as it can be
sometimes with these bikes and Matti got just one round and 1 meter.....As you all understand, we call it, no race! Daniel went
out on his new bike, Kawasaki 900 Ninja and did very well for
being first time, and also without wheeliebars. He enjoyed to
get 1/4 mile run, he was satisfied yes ;O). Tobias was also
taking part this event....he also was doing well ;O). But
weather was not with us this weekend and on Sunday, the clerk
of the course decided to call it the day. It was raining, raining
and raining and no chance to continue and finish the event,
too bad!
The next event was an UEM round in Sweden, Tierp Arena,
in June.
Weather was beautiful and the track was as being in
Las Vegas! Matti got 3 rounds and we were doing better and better.....New bike and new mecanics, this takes some time to
deal with and to get to know the bike. However, the guys were
doing the right things and we are moving slowly forward....
Daniel was also taking part in Super Gas bike and he got many rounds....He got some small problems with gearing so his
results he does not want to talk about ;O(. But with good help
from other drivers in same class, he is now well prepared for
next round :O)
Next event we will go for is at Gardermoen Raceway again 5th-7th of August.

Here comes a small summary from this season so far. We have got two new members in the team. Glenn in ET Street Bike, has been with us since the beginning of this season. He took his license in May and has been doing very well so far. For the time beeing Gleen and Daniel is leading the Norwegian Championship with only one event left! This is very good! Congratulation guys!!!! Last weekend we got the latest member, Tobias, 9 years old, took his license and took part in Sunoco Drag Challenge together with the other guys. All three ended up with Winner Trofees!!!!!!!!! Brilliant!!!!!!!!!

We are happy to anounce that Matti is to see on a Super Twin next year!!!!! This evening it became a reality and the team will use this year to get to know this bike and do a lot of work with it for the next season.

What`s up in 2010?????
Well, Matti is taking a year off from Super Twin and will drive in his old class, Super Gas Bike or....? Daniel will take part in his class, Junior Dragbike.

For the first time, Matti was driving "The Cat" which is owned by another team.
They got 3 rounds and after this, Santa Pod is waiting with the first round in UEM.

MAIN EVENT, SANTA POD, UK
At last.... time for the first round in UEM!!!!Many people were curious and excited...Lot`s of phonecalls and sms was going around...
On Saturday, Matti set qualifying time, 7, 28 seconds in his first run!!!! However, there was more rounds to go but the time above, made Matti as number 6 and he was in the eliminations, well done!
At eliminations Matti was up against Job Heezen....Everything looked good and sounded good but after the burn-out the track crew discovered an oil leak from the steering and Matti had to switch off and eliminations were history!!! But, to qualify in his first event in UEM is very well done! Beeing a "Rookie" and getting 7th place is very, very good! Congratulations Matti and the rest of the team!

SUMMER NAT`S, GARDERMOEN, NORWAY
Shortly after arriving home from England, it was time for National Finals for the big classes for bikes. It didn`t go so well this time but Trond "The Rookie" went off with the victory which was marvellous! Congratulations Trond and the rest of you!!!!!
ALASTARO, FINLAND
Alastaro was a new track for Matti. 15 teams was to take part and 7 of these should not be in the eliminations. Not a peace of cake.. Since this was the 2nd round in UEM, the best in Europe was here to take part. Matti set qualifying time in his 1st run and he was in the eliminations!! The 1st round here was against Olstad... "The Cat" was prepared and you could feel the excitement..Matti had a 60ft on 1,09 and was leading all the way to the 1st camera at finish-line ...but then the belt went broke and Olstad won only by 0,004 or something.. These things happens and it`s the same for everyone, just a shame it happened this time for Matti and the rest of the team! Everything looked very good and the team did a very good job and now Matti is in 6th place in UEM. Next round will be in Mantorp, Sweden...Better luck there!!!!!

The Event was in July and, as always, there were many teams taking part. Matti qualified as nr 5 and was ready for the eliminations.He met Olstad in the 1st run and won!!!!! But, he showered the hole track with oil....That was the end of this Event and he`s now nr 5 in the UEM. Good work!!!!!
KUNMADARAS, HUNGARY
New organizer and a new track!!!!! Very exciting! The team went for Hungary on Monday and arrived at Wednesday, long journey. The temperature was only 42 degrees!!! Matti set qualifying time in his 1st run and that was good! He only got 2 rounds and then it was over also this time :((((. However, the team is still nr 5 and has been working like vikings all the way!!! A new bike for both Matti and the team can be complicated and beeing nr 5 for the moment is very, very good!!! Who could believe that when they started in May???next stop will be Mosten in Denmark and at last, Santa Pod for the finals... I believe we will se either Bengtsson or Stäuble as The Champion of 2009. But we have some Norwegians up there as well so never say never....Good luck everyone!!!

FINALS, SANTA POD, UK
At last, The Finals at Santa Pod! The team arrived the day before the race and everything looked very good. Even the weather was fantastic! Matti was on a very angry Cat for the 1st round. It looked like it could be the 1st 6 second this year but at 200mtrs something happened..This event was like a nightmare for the team and the frustration was easy to see..The team worked very hard to find out what was wrong but did not really have the time..In dragracing there is no easy and quick solutions.No more driving this weekend either, but, however, the team ended up as nr 5 totally in UEM after only 7 months. That is absoluttely crazy and very well done!!!! There is many people out there who are very impressed..We will see what is happening next year......
